Fractional CFO

A financial co-pilot for the stage you're in.

Most growing businesses hit a point where a bookkeeper isn't enough and a full-time CFO isn't justified. That's the seat we fill — senior financial leadership, sized to your business.

You've built something real. But the financial questions keep getting bigger — cash flow is harder to predict, margins move and you're not sure why, and the next phase (a raise, a hire, an acquisition) needs more than a monthly P&L. You need someone in the numbers with you.

A Fractional CFO gives you the strategic financial leadership of a full-time CFO — clarity in your numbers, control of cash, stronger profitability, and a disciplined plan for growth — without the cost or overhead of a permanent hire. You invest in outcomes, not a job title.

Who does what

Where a Fractional CFO fits

You likely need a bookkeeper and a CPA. A CFO is a different seat.

Records it

Bookkeeper

Transactions, payroll, and clean books. Tells you what already happened.

Files it

CPA / Accountant

Taxes, compliance, and year-end. Keeps you in good standing with the IRS.

Reports it

Controller

Tightens reporting and process. Strong on accuracy, lighter on strategy.

Decides what's next

Questions

Good to know

How much of my team's time do you need?+

Minimal. We integrate with your bookkeeper and accountant, work largely independently, and keep a light cadence — typically a weekly check-in and a monthly strategy session.

How long is a typical engagement?+

Most run 3–12 months, flexible to your goals. Some start with a focused build (a model, a raise) and move into ongoing monthly support.

Do you replace our CPA or bookkeeper?+

No — we complement them. They keep the books and handle tax; we handle strategy, cash, capital, and decisions. We don't provide tax or legal advice.

What if I only have one specific problem?+

Then CFO Lite may be the faster, lower-cost fit. We'll tell you honestly which one makes sense.
